Penn’s Barstool Sportsbook and HollywoodCasino.com receive RGC accreditation

Penn Entertainment subsidiary Penn Interactive has become the first US operator to voluntarily undergo such accreditation, which the group noted is one of the most comprehensive responsible gambling accreditation programmes in the world.

The company has now achieved RG Check accreditation across its Interactive division, with theScore Bet securing the accreditation in January 2022 prior to launching in the Canadian province of Ontario.

“Penn is committed to being at the forefront of responsible gaming and achieving this accreditation for our online platforms further strengthens our top of class RG programme,” said Penn Entertainment Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer Chris Soriano.

“We have and will continue to be proactive by investing in valuable training and resources to ensure that we are providing the safest possible environment for players to responsibly enjoy gaming. Electing to undergo, and receiving accreditation following a thorough review of our operation, demonstrates that we’re actioning the highest standards of RG programming.”

Penn noted that it has established a comprehensive framework to promote a culture of responsible gambling throughout the company,Play Casino Online with the group maintaining a Corporate Responsible Gaming Committee to oversee its responsible gaming programmes.

It added that the RGC accreditation process helps operators evaluate, monitor and manage all aspects of their RG (responsible gambling) strategy.

Earlier this week, Penn reported $1.6bn in revenue for Q4 2022, a 0.8% increase year-on-year.
